You don’t need to know anyone or have anything figured out. Come as you are, say hello to a leader and we’ll help you get settled.
What actually happens?
Well that depends… are you attending on a Club night, or a Hangout night? The two can be very different from one another. Club is organized-chaos, high energy, lots of music and upfront games, along with mixers that involve everyone that ends in a club talk where we share a little about what we believe. Then there is Hangouts, these are more laid back and relaxed. We may head over to McDonald’s for hostage takeover and board games, or head to a park, or go do a challenge or an adventure of what kind or another - I promise, there’s never a dull moment in Young Life!
Do I have to join everything?
Absolutely not! You may join in at your own pace! We have no expectations, but we will certainly do our best to push you to challenge yourself; but always within reason. We want everyone to walk away feeling supported and encouraged!
Coming on your own?
That’s okay! Say hello when you arrive, or drop us a text beforehand. We’ll help you meet people and find your feet. Bringing a friend is always welcome too.
What should I bring? What about a ride?
Check the event for the time, location, age group and anything to bring. Need a ride? Reach out beforehand and we’ll see about helping with a ride!
Clubs and Hangouts are free! Some special events cost money (like when we go bowling, or the swimming pool), but we never want cost to keep you from coming. If money is a concern, let a leader know!
What’s Campaigners?
A smaller hangout where we open the Bible, ask questions and talk about real life and following Jesus. We hope you’ll come curious. You can listen, join the conversation and be yourself.
There is no expectation of you know anything or everything. Campaigners isn’t just bible studies, it’s a leadership group, that receives a variety of leadership opportunities as well. It’s our hope that campaigners will encourage their friends to attend Young Life, but also, one day maybe become leaders themselves.
A taste of camp.
There are big adventures! Your friends… and a whole lot of memories!! Take a look at RockRidge Canyon – this is camp, not your typical summer camp! Ask a leader, or a teen who went last year and they’ll tell you all about it!
Young Life is for Grades 9-12. WyldLife, for Grades 6-8, is currently paused while we rebuild our volunteer leadership team. Check each event for its age group.

Young Life
A place to be yourself.
Club nights
Are something you won’t forget. A night of organized-chaos that includes lots of music, karaoke, up-front games, mixers (everyone get involved!) and all this equals a whole lot of fun! We end the night with what we call a “Club Talk” where we share a little about our faith in a way that is relatable with today. We usually finish up by heading to McDonald’s for talking, board games, and of course we cannot forget the endless fries we order!
Hangouts
A lot less organized, and often we’re hanging out around town doing something you guys want to do. We may head out to a Hockey Game, crash The Ark, go play Grounders at the park, or perhaps a round of disk golf. I guess what we’re saying is there’s a lot we do when hanging out on a Young Life night. We would strongly encourage your following us on Social Media for more updates on our weekly events.

You don’t need to know everyone or share our faith to come. Bring a friend or say hello to a leader, and we’ll introduce you around.
Clubs and Hangouts are free. If another event has a cost and money is a concern, tell a leader - we don’t want that to keep you away.

Campaigners
Grow in faith. Find your voice.
More than a Bible study
Campaigners is our weekly smaller-group meetup for students who want to explore faith and grow as leaders. We open the Bible, ask honest questions and talk about following Jesus in everyday life. You don’t need to have it all figured, or know anything about this fella named Jesus. It’s OK to come with questions and to be curious.
Help make Young Life happen
Bring your ideas, help welcome someone new and get involved in planning or running Club and other events. Together, we learn to notice others, include our friends and put our faith into action. You can grow in confidence, discover your strengths and try leading with support from leaders who are walking alongside you.
Take it beyond Club
There are also opportunities to serve at RockRidge Canyon through Summer Work Crew. It’s a chance to work alongside others, help make camp happen and grow through serving. Ask a leader about these opportunities.
Come curious
You don’t need to know the Bible or see yourself as a leader. Come listen, bring your questions and get to know our crew. Check the calendar for our current meetup time and place, or reach out if you need a ride.

What WyldLife Club is like
WyldLife is Young Life for middle schoolers. The energy is high, with games, laughter and a short, simple message about Jesus and God’s love.
It’s different from high-school Young Life Club: the setup is more spread out, with more activity options and ways to join in, suited to the younger age group.
Help bring it back
We’re looking for volunteers to help rebuild this younger program. Interested in helping or learning more? Reach out. If you know an adult who could make a great leader, invite them to connect with us.
Summer ROCKRIDGE CANYON
BIG Camp.
BIG Adventures.
Race a friend down the dual zipline, take on the legendary Spinner tube or find out how the Tower of Terror earned its name. Pool time, lake days, waterskiing, wakeboarding, tubing - a whole week at RockRidge Canyon gives you plenty to try and time to just hang out.
The best part? You go with the leaders who’ve been alongside you all year. Share the adventures, explore life and faith, make some memories - then come home and keep doing life together.
