Need-To-Know Travel Details
Young Life Dawson Creek has generously partnered with Young Life Grande Prairie and Everest Transport Ltd., to provide all of our teens with an excellent adventure to Grande Prairie Alberta. During these trips to Grande Prairie, we will be meeting with other local teens and Young Life leaders to do what we do best – Party With Purpose!
We will be traveling by Charter Bus from Dawson Creek to Grande Prairie.
LIMITED NUMBER OF BUS SEATS! RSVP TODAY!
What will you need when going to Grande Prairie?
- All parents are required to sign a waiver [Linked]
- Bring a lunch or money for food/snacks
- Bring a water bottle that can be refilled
- Dress accordingly to the weather (we will be outside)
Please note that events such as Swimming or related, are an added cost. If money is a reason why your child cannot attend, let us know and we will be more than happy to help out.
While it is our intention to have everyone back home in Dawson Creek by 6PM, we must note that there may be some delays. In the event there are delays in our getting home on time, your child and/or leader will be sure to reach out.

Dawson Creek will be bringing 20 teens to Grande Prairie with the intention to jumpstart clubs. We want to help Grande Prairie kick off Young Life again and we need your help to spread the word. Want to know more? Contact us!
All teens in Grade 6-12 are welcome to attend our events. While we are 100% FREE in our cost, some things such as Swimming will cost a little extra. Please follow us on Social Media to stay up to date with our upcoming event details, or return to this page periodically for updates.

YL Mega Club FAQs
The burning questions you know you want to ask!
Will these YL road trip adventures cost money?
No. There is no cost. We have been blessed by generous support that is making these bus trips possible. Everest Transport has also been extremely gracious in their costs.
While it is not necessary to bring money, we do encourage your child to bring food/snacks or money for food while in Grande Prairie. It will be a long day and we wouldn’t want any hangry teenagers trapped in small spaces together – right?!
Some events, such as swimming, may have added costs. Though we want to assure you that if finances are a concern, we are always happy to help out. Please message Bryce, 1-250-467-2787 and we can discuss it more.
Where do I meet the bus for drop off and pickup?
We will be meeting at 10:30 AM on Saturday:
First Baptist Church dcfirstbaptist.ca
1400 – 113th Ave, Dawson Creek, BC.
Just across from the Trembley School
The bus will depart from the church promptly at 11:00 AM.
Please be on time. We only have 20 seats available.
We encourage you RSVP to ensure we have enough seats.
Can we meet you in Grande Prairie and not ride the bus?
Yes. Absolutely! But you’ll miss the Party Bus adventures!
This is an event being held in Grande Prairie and is 100% open to all teens within and around the community. If you have friends or family in Grande Prairie with teens in Grades 6-12 they are encouraged to meet us at 1:02 PM (location will vary based on the month and event being held).
