SUMMARY:Christmas Day
LOCATION:
DESCRIPTION:Merry Christmas!\nToday\, we [Christians / Followers of Christ]
celebrate the birth of Jesus. The Christmas story begins with a baby born
in humble surroundings and the belief that God came close to us through h
im. It's a story of hope\, joy\, and love for everyone.\nCurious about the
meaning behind Christmas? Watch BibleProject's The Birth of Jesus: Luke 1
–2. This short animated video explores Jesus' birth and why his arrival
was such good news.\nYou can also read Luke 2 in the Bible App. Start with
verses 1-20 to meet Mary\, Joseph\, and the shepherds who received an une
xpected invitation.\nSomething to think about: why might the news of Jesus
' birth have been shared with ordinary shepherds first?\nWhether Christmas
is part of your faith\, a family tradition\, or something you're learning
about\, you're welcome to explore and ask questions.
